Job summary

South Shores Animal Hospital in Las Vegas, NV seeks an experienced Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) to join as LVT Supervisor, supporting outpatient care and surgical/dental services. You will work closely with the current supervisor to manage daily workflow, schedule, training, and overall hospital operations.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years as a veterinary technician, NV license in good standing, strong leadership, and excellent client communication.

Qualifications

• Active and good-standing LVT in Nevada.
• Leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
• Proficiency in anesthesia, dental care, IV placement, imaging, and charting.

Responsibilities

• Support efficient exam room, outpatient, surgical, and dental workflows.
• Provide hands-on clinical support across a general practice caseload.
• Train and mentor veterinary support team members.
• Support team scheduling and monitor daily hospital flow.
• Assist with inventory management.
• Address client concerns professionally.
• Maintain high standards of patient care and teamwork.
