Job summary

South Shores Animal Hospital in Las Vegas, NV is seeking an experienced Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) to join as an LVT Supervisor. You will support outpatient care, surgical and dental procedures, and lead a capable team in a dynamic general practice.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of technician experience, NV LVT licensure, and proven leadership skills. The role includes scheduling, training, and maintaining high patient care and client service standards.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of veterinary technician experience
• Previous leadership, supervisor, or management experience
• Active and good-standing Licensed Veterinary Technician in Nevada
• Proficiency in anesthesia induction and monitoring, nursing care, and recovery
• Proficiency in dental prophylaxis, radiography, IV catheter placement, and injections

Responsibilities

• Support efficient exam room, outpatient, surgical, and dental workflows
• Provide hands-on clinical support across a varied general practice caseload
• Train and mentor veterinary support team members
• Assist with team scheduling and monitor daily hospital flow
• Aid in inventory management and supply control
• Address client concerns professionally and maintain high patient care standards
