Job summary

Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) is seeking a Licensed Vocational Nurse III for Terrell State Hospital. The role involves administering medications, performing complex nursing tasks, and supervising LVN staff on evening and weekend shifts within a state hospital environment.

You will collaborate with RNs and other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality care for Texans, with strong emphasis on safety, documentation, and training new LVN staff.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited LVN program.
• Minimum twelve months’ LVN experience; eighteen months preferred.
• Must be licensed to practice as LVN in Texas or via licensure compacts.
