Job summary

Siemens is seeking a Senior Application Engineer for low voltage power distribution (circuit breakers) to support LV breakers, MCBs and related products. Hybrid work is possible in Grand Prairie, TX or Peachtree Corners, GA, with travel primarily domestic.

The role emphasizes pre-sales engagement, gathering customer requirements, and leading technical reviews to develop compelling proposals and technology solutions. Experience in power distribution and customer-facing presentations is valued.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in engineering, manufacturing.
5+ years of experience applying power circuit breakers in industrial and commercial power systems.
Experience / exposure in communications for processes and building management systems
Excellent verbal group presentation and written communications skills.
Must be open to 30% travel, mostly domestic.
Must be eligible to work in the US with no sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

Lead pursuit teams to prepare and deliver compelling customer experiences in support of selling efforts.
Provide pre-sale interfacing with customers, business developers, application engineers, project managers on technical issues related to application and integration of power circuit breakers.
Engage with customers to gather business and technical requirements, assist product management with portfolio development via new product specifications.
Develop presentations, demonstrations, proofs of concept, proposals and reviews (Technical/Management).
Oversee and guide clients in selecting suitable solutions and technology suites.
