Job summary

Chase Travel is seeking a Travel Advisor to support customers with travel reservations and complex situations, delivering service excellence through proactive problem-solving. You will negotiate with vendors, leverage booking tools and GDS, and collaborate with internal teams to provide timely resolutions while protecting customer and company interests.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Two or more years of experience in the travel industry with knowledge of GDS or other booking platforms.
• Demonstrated effective communication and interpersonal skills to manage internal and external customer issues.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to learn technical concepts quickly.
• Excellent time management and multitasking abilities, especially in online environments.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Respond to customer inquiries related to travel arrangements and resolve issues with a focus on long- and short-term fixes.
• Collaborate with internal teams to troubleshoot and deliver timely resolutions with high accuracy.
• Maintain knowledge of client programs, products, and procedures, and support various booking tools and websites.
• Negotiate with vendors and customers to reach acceptable resolutions, including loyalty points and fee waivers.
• Maintain high call quality and confidentiality, keeping supervisor informed of significant issues.
• Coach other Travel Advisors, monitor escalations, and update tracking information in a database.
• Provide energy and strong relationships with customers and departments to improve service levels.
