Job summary

Comstock Companies is seeking a Residential Property Manager for a luxury high-rise lease-up in Reston, VA. You will lead the onsite team, manage leasing activities, financial performance, and vendor relations to achieve occupancy and budget goals while upholding brand standards.

You will train staff, coordinate with Marketing, and ensure compliance with Fair Housing and local laws. A strong background in property management, leadership, and software like Yardi/RealPage is required.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of progressive experience in property management
• 2+ years of supervisory experience
• Strong financial acumen including budgets and variance reporting
• Expertise in federal fair housing and applicable state/local laws
• Proficiency in property management software (Yardi/RealPage) and MS Office

Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate, and train the onsite team to deliver first-class service and achieve corporate goals
• Oversee the onsite lease-up process from first contact through move-in
• Partner with Marketing to develop and execute marketing campaigns for a luxury lease-up
• Oversee daily leasing activity, pricing strategies, concession management, and market analysis
• Address resident concerns in a professional, solutions-oriented manner
• Assist in preparing the property’s annual business plan and oversee daily operations
• Support monthly financial reporting with variance reports and performance summaries
• Oversee maintenance to reflect luxury standards and schedule compliance
• Coordinate with construction/development teams for smooth transition to operations
• Manage vendor relationships to meet lease-up marketing needs
• Ensure compliance with all laws including Fair Housing and ADA
