Job summary

Astrolab, The Lunar Operations Company, seeks an LTVS Sr. Program System Engineer to integrate Lunar Terrain Vehicle system elements and interfaces across mission phases, ensuring alignment with NASA Moon Base and LTV Project objectives.

You will report to the LTV Deputy Program Manager and work with the SEI team across multiple engineer disciplines. You will develop verification plans, perform trade studies, and manage risks while coordinating with mission ops, software, and hardware teams to

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a science, technology, engineering, mathematics (STEM) field.
• 5+ years of experience with spacecraft telecommunications, GNC, power, and flight software systems.
• Experience with cross-functional engineering projects and multiple SMEs.
• Experience with developing and executing V&V plans, system-level trade studies, requirements, and risk management, including proficiency with a requirements management system.

Responsibilities

• Integration of Program elements (vehicle, delivery system, NASA, ground systems) and requirements.</li>
• Execute program-level trade studies affecting hardware, software design, and mission planning.</li>
• Collaborate with Mission Operations, software, and Engineering across mission phases and with NASA counterparts.</li>
• Own or review scenario-based analyses for resources (power/energy, data volume) and surface productivity.</li>
• Develop, coordinate, and execute V&V activities for integrated system tests and interface tests.</li>
• Identify, quantify, and mitigate phase-level program risks.
