Job summary

Lunar Outpost is seeking a Senior Test Systems Engineer to advance the Lunar Terrain Vehicle Services program. You will support the AI&T team with test planning, execution, and reporting, coordinating across IPTs and contributing to NASA-aligned verification and validation efforts.

The role requires a systems-focused engineering background, strong documentation, and collaboration to meet program milestones in a dynamic startup environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in aerospace, electrical, mechanical engineering or related field.
• 4–8 years of experience developing and executing test and qualification campaigns for NASA Class A and/or human-rated vehicles.
• Experience leading and executing engineering test efforts to support requirement verification and validation.

Responsibilities

• Develop test requirements and plans with IPTs.
• Support IPT generation of test reports.
• Plan and execute component, subassembly, and subsystem qualification campaigns.
• Lead design, build, and test of vehicle test platforms and prototypes.
• Develop qualification/test campaign schedules and execute campaigns on schedule.

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Aerospace, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering or related discipline
