Job summary

Kelly Services is assisting a Denver-area space-focused organization to hire a Senior Lunar Ground Systems Engineer. The role centers on RF communications, TT&C, system integration, and mission operations for lunar and deep-space projects with a global SATCOM network.

The successful candidate will lead RF test events, troubleshoot complex issues, and configure customer systems in a mission-critical environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of SATCOM experience supporting, developing, testing, or deploying space-to-ground RF communication systems.
• Strong knowledge of TT&C communications and mission data transport architectures.
• Experience designing or supporting RF communication systems including modulation, demodulation, framing, synchronization, and encoding.
• Hands-on experience testing and integrating RF equipment including digitizers, up/down converters, software modems, radios, signal generators, and spectrum analyzers.
• Experience providing operational support and troubleshooting complex real-time customer issues.
• Strong customer-facing communication and technical presentation skills.
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed.
• Eligible to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Lead RF compatibility test events and troubleshoot complex communications issues.
• Configure customer systems within a mission-critical operational environment.
• Collaborate with global engineering teams on lunar missions and deep-space initiatives.
• Support Linux, network integration, and cloud-based automation tasks.
• Engage with customers to ensure smooth mission operations and issue resolution.
