Job summary

KSAT Inc. in Denver, Colorado, is seeking a Senior / Principal Lunar Ground Systems Engineer to provide real-time support and engineering for lunar projects. The role collaborates with KSAT’s global teams, handling RF compatibility testing, onboarding, and anomaly resolution to ensure high SLA performance.

The position is hybrid in-office/remote in the Denver region, with relocation assistance for the right candidate and opportunities across commercial, civil, and defense space sectors.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of SATCOM experience developing, deploying, and/or testing space-to-ground RF systems.
• In-depth technical competency designing RF communication systems (mod/demod, framing, encoding, synchronization).
• Experience with operations support and real-time troubleshooting of complex systems.
• Hands-on RF testing with digitizers, down/upconverters, software modems, radios, signal generators, or spectrum analyzers.

Responsibilities

• Provide real-time or near real-time support for lunar network anomaly events.
• Execute face-to-face testing of baseband RF communications and network interfaces.
• Onboard customers to KSAT lunar network and ensure performance end-to-end.
• Coordinate with global teams to design and implement long-term space-ground solutions.
• Support build-up and deployment of lunar products and systems.
