KSAT USA) is located in Denver, Colorado and is rapidly growing in response to strong US Government and industry demand for commercial ground segment services. As a result of KSAT’s continued growth in the US, more critical talent is needed.
KSAT USA is seeking an early to mid-career engineer to perform design, development, deployment, and testing of satellite ground systems focused on demodulator deployment, antenna installation/integration and site engineering. This role will act as a technical resource for key customers in the USA, working closely with KSAT’s broader global engineering and program teams. Critical functions include integrating and operationalizing complete radio frequency (RF) ground systems servicing space missions with a focus on backend/datacenter integration and test.
In the near term, the Satellite Ground Systems Engineer will be part of the lunar integration and operations team, in coordination with the global KSAT team, performing additional antenna installations to support civil and commercial missions. Responsibilities will include operationalizing multiple ground stations at CONUS and global locations. The Satellite Ground Systems Engineer will work closely with KSAT USA’s suppliers, industry partners, and the end users to ensure successful deployment of the complete antenna and backend ground systems.
This position will report to Austin Cooner, US Director of Engineering.
The role will be local to the Denver region with flexible teleworking opportunities. Relocation assistance is available for the right candidate.
The On-Target base salary range is between $100K - $130K.
