Job summary

Health & Human Services Comm in Arlington, TX is seeking an LTCR Inspector V to perform on-site inspections and investigations of Long-Term Care facilities. The role includes writing regulatory reports and, when required, testifying at hearings to support findings.

Qualifications

• Experience conducting inspections and investigations.
• Four-year degree from accredited college or university.
• Experience working with individuals with mental illness, intellectual or developmental disabilities, or physical disabilities preferred.

Responsibilities

• Attends work on a regular and predictable schedule and performs other duties as assigned.
• The inspector conducts on-site licensure inspections, complaint and incident investigations, and annual surveys to determine compliance with regulations.
• The inspector completes written reports detailing deficiencies and narratives to support regulatory findings.
• The inspector testifies at hearings or in court proceedings regarding investigation findings and compliance determinations.
• The inspector travels up to 80% and may be on-call for emergencies or high-priority situations.
