Job summary
Auburn Rehabilitation is seeking a Supervising RN for our long-term care unit in New York. You will coordinate nursing activities on a shift, ensure accurate admissions, assessments, and timely clinical decisions to meet resident needs.
You must hold a NY RN license, CPR and IV certifications, with at least 1 year of LT care supervision experience. Strong leadership and excellent clinical skills are essential.
Qualifications

- Current CPR and IV certifications required.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate nursing department activities on a designated shift and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Ensure admissions and assessments are completed thoroughly.
- Address emergent resident needs and make appropriate clinical decisions.
- Serve as a resource to staff and delegate responsibilities during the shift.
- Participate in inspections and assure accurate assessment of residents and care plans.
- Make frequent rounds to ensure nursing standards and resident needs are met.
- Monitor documentation and report issues to the Director of Nursing.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Nursing.
