Job summary

Personal Healthcare Management LLC seeks an experienced RN supervisor for a Long Term Care facility in New York. The ideal candidate holds an active NY RN license, CPR and IV certifications and has at least 1 year of LT care supervision experience.

You will coordinate clinical activities, ensure admissions assessments, lead nursing staff, participate in surveys, develop plans of care, make rounds, monitor documentation, and report to the Director of Nursing.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
• Minimum 1 year Long Term Care RN supervision experience.
• Current NY RN license; CPR and IV certifications.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate administration and clinical activities for the nursing department on the shift.
• Ensure admissions assessments are completed thoroughly.
• Address emergent resident needs and make clinical decisions.
• Serve as clinical resource; delegate tasks to staff.
• Participate in inspections and surveys by authorities.
• Assess residents and validate nursing staff decisions.
• Develop, implement, and communicate resident care plans.
• Make frequent rounds to ensure nursing standards and resident needs are met.
• Monitor documentation and report issues to the Director of Nursing.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Director of Nursing.
