Job summary

Arcadis is seeking a Principal Engineer / Scientist to act as the Licensed Site Professional for on-going and upcoming Massachusetts projects, assisting with site investigation and remediation. You will lead teams, communicate with clients, and mentor junior staff across New England offices.

Successful candidates will hold MA LSP certification with 15+ years in environmental consulting; additional PE/PG or NE state licenses are preferred. Competitive salary and growth await.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Geology, Hydrogeology or related field.
• Active Massachusetts Licensed Site Professional certification.
• 15+ years of progressive experience in environmental consulting, with direct experience in the Massachusetts market.
• Preferred: Master’s degree and additional certifications such as PE, PG, or CT Licensed professional.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the LSP-of-record for ongoing Massachusetts Waste Sites for existing Arcadis clients.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams, with development and management of project scopes, schedules, and budgets.
• Prepare investigation work plans, remedial designs, cost estimates, and other deliverables.
• Mentor and train junior engineers and scientists.
• Support business development including client meetings and proposal development.
• Act as a subject matter expert for regulatory interpretation, assessment and remediation.
