Job summary

Centra Health in Lynchburg, VA is seeking an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse to provide patient care under supervision per state nurse practice acts and Centra policies.

You will assess, implement and coordinate nursing care, collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to ensure safety and quality outcomes. Eligible for a bonus up to $10k and a competitive hourly wage will be provided based on experience.

Qualifications

• Education Minimum: Completion of accredited LPN training program.
• Work Experience Minimum: At least one year of Nursing (LPN) experience
• Licenses & Certifications Minimum: A valid, current, full and unrestricted LPN license in the State of Virginia.
• BLS Certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients in collaboration with RN and co-sign and prioritize care.
• Perform treatments as ordered by provider in a timely manner.
• Document patient assessments and progress toward goals.
• Evaluate patient responses and adjust care plans with the team.
• Maintain competency and participate in required educational activities.
