Job summary

Jade Communications, Inc. is seeking experienced Low Voltage Technicians to work on commercial projects throughout Saint Lucie and Martin Counties. The team values quality workmanship, professional collaboration, and long-term opportunities.

You will install and test Cat5e/Cat6/Cat6A cables, fiber optic systems, and related infrastructure, including cable trays and firestopping. Strong blueprint reading and adherence to industry standards are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of commercial low-voltage installation experience.
• Experience with structured cabling and fiber optic systems.
• Ability to read blueprints and construction drawings.
• Knowledge of TIA/EIA standards and industry best practices.
• Experience using Fluke certification equipment.

Responsibilities

• Install, terminate, label, and test Cat5e, Cat6, and Cat6A cabling.
• Install and terminate fiber optic cabling, including fusion splicing and testing.
• Perform firestopping and install cable trays and support systems.
• Read and interpret construction drawings and specs; document test results.
• Maintain a clean, safe job site and communicate with project managers and customers.
