Job summary

TEKsystems is seeking experienced Low Voltage Technicians for multiple large-scale commercial and industrial projects in Idaho Falls, ID. You will install and support structured cabling, access control systems, security cameras, and audio-visual systems on diverse sites.

Ideal candidates have 2–3+ years in structured cabling, access control, and AV installations. The role involves transporting to sites, collaborating with project teams, and mentoring junior technicians.

Qualifications

• 2-3+ years of experience with structured cabling installations.
• 2-3+ years of experience installing and supporting access control systems.
• 2-3+ years of AV installation experience; familiarity with Crestron and Q-SYS is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install and terminate structured cabling systems (CAT5/CAT6).
• Install and support access control systems.
• Install security camera and surveillance systems.
• Perform audio-visual equipment installations.
• Troubleshoot low-voltage systems and connectivity issues.
• Complete hardware setup and teardown as needed.
• Follow safety guidelines and job site requirements.
• Collaborate with project teams and mentor junior technicians when appropriate.
