Qualifications

• Proven experience installing Structured Cabling and additional devices for Access Control, Video Surveillance, etc.
• Experience installing a wide range of low voltage cabling including Cat‑6/6A.
• Knowledge of various construction site standards and experience working with project managers.

Responsibilities

• Install Access Control, Video Surveillance, Intrusion, and Fire Alarm systems.
• Work under supervision at large construction sites.
• Demonstrate a Safety First mentality.

Skills

Knowledge of industry standards (BICSI, NEC, TIA/EIA)

Troubleshooting and repairing network and controls systems

Low voltage cabling and device installation skills

Ability to present self in a professional manner

Ability to read and interpret low voltage plans

Education
