Job summary

Unió Digital seeks a Senior Low Voltage Technician to lead on-site structured cabling projects across data centers, medical facilities, offices, and industrial sites. You will install, terminate, splice fiber, certify copper and fiber, and troubleshoot faults to root cause on complex builds.

You will mentor technicians, coordinate with general contractors, and report progress to the Project Manager. A minimum of five years in low voltage or electrical work, OSHA 10, and relevant certifications

Qualifications

• 5+ years in the low voltage or electrical industry.
• Experience terminating, splicing, and testing fiber.
• Able to explain how a structured cabling system fits together, including copper and fiber.
• Knows ANSI/TIA standards and the NEC; follows code vs. best practice.
• OSHA 10-hour Construction card or willingness to earn one after hire.

Responsibilities

• Lead cabling work on site and coach technicians to meet schedule and design.
• Install and service low voltage cabling for data, voice, coax, AV, and fiber.
• Terminate Cat6/Cat6A and build out telecom racks with grounding.
• Fusion splice and terminate fiber; inspect connectors and test.
• Act as on-site contact for clients and coordinate with contractors.
