Job summary

Equiliem is seeking a Project Estimator to develop accurate and competitive cost estimates for low-voltage and communications technology projects. You'll be responsible for reviewing bid documents, performing detailed take-offs, and coordinating with vendors to ensure specifications align with project requirements.

The ideal candidate possesses at least five years of experience, a strong understanding of low-voltage systems, and proficiency in relevant software tools. This role involves managing multiple estimates and ensuring deadlines are met.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five years of technical experience, including hands-on field experience.
• Demonstrated ability to estimate complex projects, including accurate material take-offs and labor estimates.
• Experience estimating or managing large-scale projects valued over $2 million.

Responsibilities

• Review and interpret bid documents, including specifications and drawing packages.
• Prepare competitive project pricing and written scopes of work.
• Coordinate with vendor partners and suppliers to obtain pricing and technical information.

Skills

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Strong math, analytical, and organizational skills

Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 applications

Experience with estimating software such as Procore, Esticom

Solid understanding of low-voltage systems

Education

Associate degree, trade school degree, or equivalent training
