Raytheon Technologies seeks a highly skilled engineer to develop, characterize, test, and integrate low‑observable materials for advanced systems. The role involves predicting material performance with computational electromagnetics and leading/participating in integrated product teams.

Applicants should have a STEM degree with extensive experience in materials characterization, testing, and integration, plus U.S. citizenship and an active Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• Requires a STEM degree and at least five years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree and at least three years of experience, along with low-observable or radar materials experience and experience in material characterization, testing, prediction, design, selection, or integration.
• U.S. citizenship and an active Secret clearance are required; a master's degree, high-temperature materials expertise, thermal and electromagnetic analysis, programming, CAD, infrared signature experience, and an active Top Secret clearance are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop, characterize, test, and integrate low-observable materials and processes for Raytheon products, including predicting material performance with computational electromagnetic tools.
• Lead or contribute to integrated product teams, prepare engineering documentation, collaborate with customers and suppliers, manage projects, and mentor early-career engineers.
