Job summary

IEM seeks a Senior Full Time Low-Code Application Developer to design, build, and maintain client-facing business apps on enterprise low-code platforms. Lead solution design, data modeling, and governance while mentoring junior developers in a distributed, remote US-based team.

The ideal candidate brings hands-on low-code experience, BI reporting (Power BI/Tableau), and strong communication with stakeholders. Occasional travel to client sites may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 8+ years in software development; 3–5+ years in a low-code platform.
• Hands-on experience building apps on an enterprise low-code/no-code platform (forms, workflows, data modeling).
• Experience developing dashboards or reports using BI tools (Power BI, Tableau or equivalent).
• Experience in agile/scrum delivery teams.
• Strong written and verbal communication with stakeholders.
• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain/maintain federal Public Trust suitability.
• Self-directed in a remote, distributed team environment.

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, build, test, and deploy apps on enterprise low-code platform (forms, modules, portals, dashboards).
• Develop automated workflows, approvals, notifications, integrations with data sources and APIs.
• Model and maintain relational data structures to support apps and reporting.
• Participate in agile ceremonies and deliver increments in two-week sprints.
• Support release activities including testing, deployment, and post-release troubleshooting.
• Produce and maintain technical and end-user documentation.
• Lead solution architecture, data modeling, platform governance, and code/configuration reviews; mentor junior developers.
• Translate business requirements into working, maintainable solutions.
