Job summary

KBR is seeking a Loss Prevention Engineer to oversee process safety, fire protection, life safety, and hazardous materials management for major projects. You will ensure alignment with regulatory requirements, client standards, and industry practices throughout engineering, procurement, construction, and CQV phases.

Qualified candidates have 10+ years in process safety or loss prevention, and a background in capital projects over $500M TIC.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 10 years in process safety or loss prevention.
• Knowledge of fire, life safety, and hazardous material regulations.
• Experience with risk assessments and hazard analyses.
• Experience on capital projects in regulated environments (> $500M TIC).
• Preferred: PMC or Owner’s Representative for large projects (> $1B TIC).
• Certifications such as PE or CFPS are a plus.

• Review project activities for compliance with loss prevention standards.
• Support hazard identification, risk assessment, and mitigation activities.
• Coordinate with engineering, construction, and CQV teams to reduce risk.
