Job summary

KBR Sustainable Technology Solutions (STS) is seeking a Loss Prevention Engineer to provide independent technical oversight for process safety, fire protection, life safety, and loss prevention on large-scale projects. The role ensures alignment with regulatory requirements, client standards, and project risk management objectives.

Ideal candidates will have a bachelor’s degree in engineering, at least 10 years in process safety, and experience on multi-hundred-million dollar capital projects.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related discipline.
At least 10 years in process safety or loss prevention.
Knowledge of fire, life safety, and hazardous materials regulations.
Experience with risk assessments and hazard analyses.
Experience on capital projects >$500M TIC.

Responsibilities

Review project activities for compliance with loss prevention standards and requirements.
Support hazard identification, risk assessment, and mitigation activities.
Coordinate with engineering, construction, and CQV teams to reduce project risk.
