Job summary

TD Bank is seeking a Loss Mitigation Specialist III (US) in Greenville, SC to manage bankruptcy, foreclosure, and workout activities for assigned accounts. You will negotiate workout solutions, resolve delinquencies, and coordinate with attorneys and trustees to minimize losses and maximize recoveries.

The role requires an Associate’s degree (or equivalent) and 3+ years of relevant experience, with strong communication and PC skills.

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ experience in loss mitigation, collections, or related debt resolution

Responsibilities

• Initiates processing of bankruptcy, foreclosure and workout activities for assigned accounts and negotiates workout solutions
• Resolves escalated issues by conferring with staff and other departments
• Provides training and mentoring for new and less experienced staff
• Works with customers or agents to resolve delinquency and legal action
• Coordinates with attorneys and trustees to research estates in bankruptcy or workout states
• Coordinates asset sales and recovery activities to secure payback for company property
