Job summary

Northwest Bank is seeking a Credit Workout Officer III to lead loss mitigation strategies and strengthen Special Assets processes. You will meet with borrowers, evaluate management teams and business plans to determine retention or exit strategies for credits.

The role requires deep credit analysis, collaboration with loan officers, and the ability to manage workout plans, due diligence, and documentation in compliance with bank rules and SBA guidelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required with related subject matter.
• 5-6 years of experience in commercial lending including special assets, loan review, credit administration and/or lending.
• Ability to establish effective working relationships and solve problems with others.
• Strong communication skills, written and oral, for various audiences.
• Ability to analyze detailed financial data and make informed decisions.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the appropriate loan recaps.
• Spread, review and analyze financial statements for new loans, maturity extensions, restructures and renewals.
• Conduct annual reviews and assign risk ratings.
• Recommend proper loan structure and terms.
• Identify credit strengths, weaknesses and mitigating factors.
• Assist in underwriting and due diligence for credit risk.
