Job summary

Qualifications

• B.S. degree in mining or related discipline.
• 5+ years experience in surface mining preferred.
• Knowledge of open pit mining engineering principles.
• Experience with mining software: MineSight, Deswik, Vulcan, Studio NPVS.
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Authorized to work in the United States full-time; must have a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Run pit optimizations and supporting mineral inventory reporting.
• Create open pits, waste dumps, haul roads, and drainage models.
• Integrate short- and long-range plans with NPV-focused analysis.
• Analyze production vs. plan and update mine designs for optimization.
• Collaborate with environmental, geology, and leadership teams.
