Job summary

Empower AI in Reston, VA is seeking a skilled Logistics & Warehouse Manager to direct the SRF operations in support of DoS IT services. You will oversee packaging, shipping, inventory, and security for IT equipment, including overseas shipments, with a large on-site team.

Responsibilities include managing ~100 FTEs, implementing real-time inventory systems, coordinating couriers and transport, and ensuring secure, compliant warehouse operations across NCR facilities.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in logistics or warehouse management.
• Bachelor's in IT or related field.
• Secret Security Clearance.
• ITIL 4 Foundation Certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct the Shipping and Receiving Facility (SRF) operations to support the customer’s DoS IT services.
• Manage all packaging and shipping processes for IT equipment, including overseas shipments.
• Oversee logistics and warehouse staff (~100 FTEs) and warehouse operations.
• Administer inventory management software with real-time inventory levels and shipping status.
• Coordinate courier, forklift and transportation services and ensure security measures.
