Job summary

Empower AI, based in Reston, VA, is hiring a Warehouse Technician to support DoS IT services enterprise-wide. You will handle packaging and shipping of IT equipment, manage inventory, and operate logistics and courier services.

The role requires a High School diploma, forklift certification, and a Secret Security Clearance. Expect standard hours with potential extended shifts for emergencies, and a team of about 100 staff in the SRF.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience in a shipping/receiving or warehouse role.
• High school diploma; forklift certification.
• Secret Security Clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Perform packaging and shipping for IT equipment, including overseas shipments.
• Work as part of logistics/warehouse staff (approx. 100 FTEs) with standard hours 7:00–18:00, possible extended 24/7 shifts for emergencies.
• Manage inventory using government-approved COTS software with real-time inventory levels and shipping status.
• Operate courier, forklift and transportation services; support for domestic and overseas DoS shipments.
