Job summary

Akima Technical Solutions (ATS), an Akima company, seeks a logistics lead responsible for theater-level training and equipment efforts, coordinating with Build Partner Capacity warehouse teams and customer staff.

The role develops logistics strategies, analyzes inventory, conducts distribution studies, manages documentation, and travels with the customer to work locations. On-site duties include supervising logistics operations and ensuring delivery times and accuracy.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizenship required.
• GCSS certified and experience at the Property Book level.
• 10–15 years of relevant work experience.
• Strong knowledge of supply chain management within an AOR.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Lead logistics for theater- level programs, coordinating with the command’s log cell and Build Partner Capacity teams.
• Develop logistics strategies to keep programs ahead of schedule and assess risk factors.
• Reconcile authorization documents with property records and track administrative changes.
• Review property records, coordinate with NICal for shortages and requisitions.
• Prepare, process, and forward various shipping and hand receipt documents.
• Operate and apply GCSS-A knowledge; conduct physical inventories and transition to theater LMP/RPAT sites.
