Job summary

Onto Innovation is seeking a Senior Logistics Specialist in Tampa, FL to support daily warehouse operations and manage domestic and international shipments. The role combines receiving, inventory control, and material handling with shipping documentation, export compliance, and carrier coordination.

The ideal candidate has warehouse experience, forklift certification, ERP familiarity, and strong organizational skills to ensure accurate, timely deliveries in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; Associate's degree preferred.
• Experience in shipping and receiving in manufacturing or distribution is required.
• Proficiency with ERP systems and MS Office applications including Excel and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Pull, stage, and verify materials for production work orders.
• Prepare shipping documents and ensure export compliance for international shipments.

Onto Innovation strives to optimize customers’ critical path of progress by making them smarter, faster and more efficient.**Job Summary & Responsibilities**The Senior Logistics Specialist is responsible for supporting daily warehouse operations while ensuring accurate and timely domestic and international shipments. This role combines traditional warehouse duties, including pulling work orders, inventory movement, receiving, and material handling, with shipping and export responsibilities. The ideal candidate will have experience in shipping and receiving, warehouse operations, and coordinating shipments with carriers and customers.Key ResponsibilitiesWarehouse Operations• Pull, stage, and verify materials for production work orders.• Receive, inspect, and store incoming materials and products.• Maintain accurate inventory transactions within the ERP system.• Perform cycle counts and assist with inventory accuracy initiatives.• Load and unload trucks and semi-trailers using forklifts and other material handling equipment.• Organize and maintain warehouse storage locations to ensure efficiency and safety.• Support production and operations teams by delivering materials as required.• Follow all company safety policies and warehouse procedures.Shipping & Logistics• Prepare shipping documentation including Commercial Invoices, Packing Lists, Shipper's Letters of Instruction(SLI), Bills of Lading, and other required shipping paperwork.• File international export information through ACE and ensure compliance with export regulations.• Crate, package, and prepare sensitive and high-value materials for domestic and international shipment.• Coordinate domestic and international shipments with customers, freight carriers, and logistics providers.• Maintain shipment tracking logs and provide shipment status updates as needed.• Investigate shipping discrepancies and resolve transportation issues.• Identify and implement process improvements to increase shipping and warehouse efficiencies.**Qualifications**Required• High school diploma or GED required; Associate's degree preferred.• Previous warehouse experience, including material handling and inventory management.• Shipping and receiving experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment.• Forklift certification or ability to become certified.• Experience preparing domestic and international shipping documentation.• Experience using ERP systems and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Outlook and Excel.• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.• Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently in a fast-paced environment.Preferred• Experience filing export documentation through ACE.• Knowledge of international shipping and customs requirements.• Oracle ERP experience.• Experience working with freight carriers and coordinating international shipments.Physical Requirements• Ability to frequently lift, move, and carry materials up to 50 pounds.• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach throughout the workday.• Ability to safely operate forklifts and material handling equipment.Why Join Onto Innovation?At Onto Innovation, we believe your work should matter—and so should your well-being.
