Onto Innovation is seeking a Senior Development Engineer to drive development, integration, and testing of semiconductor metrology systems at our Milpitas facility. You will integrate hardware, optics, and software to deliver high-performance products and support field deployments with up to 30% travel.

The role requires a strong engineering background, hands-on lab experience with precision optics, and a track record in system-level integration within semiconductor capital equipment.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s in Engineering/Sciences or equivalent with focus on Engineering, Physics or Optics
• >5 years experience in a semiconductor capital equipment engineering role, preferably metrology
• Hands-on experience in the integration of precision optical and optomechanical components
• Experience working on prototype systems in a hands-on laboratory setting

The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and a passion for advancing technology in the semiconductor field. The position offers opportunities to engage in engineering design, integration tasks and contribute to the development of innovative solutions.
