Job summary

IT Veterans is seeking a Subject Matter Expert (SME) Logistician to lead end‑to‑end delivery and receiving for Task Force Raptor at WHCA in Washington, DC. The role coordinates security, access, and storage, guiding vendors and drivers through strict DoD and government requirements.

The SME will manage scheduling, safety, risk, and asset accountability, ensuring on‑time, compliant deliveries to installation teams while interfacing with WHCA, Secret Service, vendors, and government personnel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required with 10+ years logistics or material coordination experience.
• Experience coordinating deliveries into secure DoD or federal facilities.
• Active TS/SCI clearance with Yankee White eligibility.
• Experience with vendor, driver, and cargo access/inspection requirements.

Responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end delivery and receiving process for Task Force Raptor deliveries.
• Coordinate security requirements for deliveries with WHCA security and Secret Service.
• Ensure vendors meet WAVES, lead-time, access, and documentation requirements.
• Plan and supervise material handling operations (forklift, crane, rigging).
• Maintain custody and accountability of stored materials and project laydown space.
• Maintain delivery records and update Task Force Raptor system of record.
