Job summary

HCLTech in Houston is seeking a Scheduler for Supply Scheduling and Logistics Coordination. You will own day-to-day scheduling for products, assets, and transportation modes with limited supervision, and coordinate with traders, terminals, and carriers.

You will develop movement schedules using forecasts, inventory targets, and contractual obligations, ensuring on-time deliveries while optimizing costs. Strong communication and analytical skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; certification in Supply Chain or related field preferred.
• 5-7 years relevant experience in scheduling bulk liquids movements and logistics.
• Experience with fuels, crude, NGL, or related logistics scheduling operations.

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day scheduling for products, assets, or transportation modes with limited supervision.
• Develop and adjust movement schedules using forecasts, demand, and contracts.
• Coordinate nominations across pipeline, marine, rail, and truck carriers.
• Ensure inventory reliability by identifying gaps and coordinating with planning.
• Resolve day-to-day issues with traders, terminals, carriers, and sales teams.
• Apply commercial judgment to balance feasibility with contracts and quality requirements.
• Support payments by validating operational data and resolving mismatches.
• Identify opportunities for logistics optimization and cost savings.
• Guide junior schedulers and support onboarding for standard activities.
