Job summary

Accenture Infrastructure & Capital Projects is seeking an experienced Scheduler on a 12-month engagement, onsite in Houston with potential extension. You will lead complex product movements across pipelines, rail, and terminals, coordinating with traders and commercial teams to ensure timely delivery and compliance.

The role requires deep expertise in fuels logistics, strong problem-solving, and the ability to coach junior staff.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressively responsible experience in fuels, crude oil, NGL, refined products, ethanol, petrochemical, or bulk liquids scheduling and logistics.
• Demonstrated experience managing pipeline nominations, transportation schedules, inventory balances, and supply execution activities.
• Experience working with traders, commercial teams, supply optimizers, refineries, terminals, pipeline operators, and carriers.

Responsibilities

• Lead scheduling and coordination of complex product movements across pipelines, rail, terminals, storage locations, refineries, and limited truck transportation.
• Manage high-value scheduling portfolios involving multiple products, locations, contracts, and transportation constraints.
• Review supply plans, inventory positions, transportation capacity, refinery requirements, and commitments to identify risks.
• Advise traders and supply optimizers on transportation feasibility and alternatives.
• Coordinate recovery plans with commercial teams, refineries, terminals, carriers, and operators.
• Coach junior schedulers and review scheduling work for accuracy and adherence to procedures.
