Job summary

LANXESS Corporation in the United States seeks a senior supply chain leader to serve as the primary operational interface between Customer Service, IBP, Global Procurement/Logistics, carriers, DCs and manufacturing locations. The hybrid role requires on-site presence.

You will lead escalations, rate requests, OTIF improvement, and strategic projects in transportation and external warehousing, while feeding performance insights to GPL.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business administration or closely related field.
• 10+ years in supply chain, logistics/transportation management and distribution.
• Familiarity with transport markets, carrier operations, warehousing and 3PL management.
• Experience in KPI analytics, continuous improvement and freight cost analysis.
• Familiarity with SAP Order to Cash and TM processes.
• Ability to travel as needed.
• Hybrid role with on-site presence.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary operational interface between Customer Service, IBP, GPL, carriers, DCs and manufacturing locations.
• Manage escalations, rate requests, monitor high volume lanes, and ensure master data aligns with operations.
• Lead strategic projects, cost management, and supply chain excellence initiatives in transportation and external warehousing.
• Lead OTIF performance related to transport or 3rd party providers and drive improvements.
• Interface with Lubricant Additives BU's external warehouses and feed performance insights to GPL.
