Job summary

LANXESS Deutschland GmbH is seeking a senior supply chain leader to act as the primary interface across Customer Service, logistics, and manufacturing with a focus on transportation and external warehousing. The role requires extensive experience in supply chain, analytics, and cross-functional collaboration.

The position is hybrid with on-site requirements in the United States and offers competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or a closely related field.
10+ years of experience in supply chain, logistics, or distribution network roles.
Familiarity with transport markets, carrier operations, and 3PL management.
Strong KPI analytics and cost optimization with cross-functional stakeholders.
Familiarity with SAP Order to Cash and TM processes.
Ability to travel as needed.
HYBRID role with on-site presence required.

Responsibilities

Act as the primary operational interface between Customer Service, IBP, GPL, transport providers, carriers, distribution centers, and manufacturing locations.
Manage escalations, rate requests, monitor high volume/key lanes, maintain transport master data.
Lead Strategic Projects, Cost Management, and Supply Chain Excellence initiatives in transportation and external warehousing.
Lead OTIF performance related to transport or 3PL providers with root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
Serve as the Lubricant Additives BU's operational interface to external warehouses, resolving day-to-day issues and feeding findings to GPL.
