Job summary

LANXESS is seeking a senior supply chain leader to set the global strategy and oversee end-to-end planning, scheduling, and customer service. You will drive enterprise performance metrics and IBP, shaping network design and production strategies across a global organization.

The role requires significant leadership in complex, manufacturing-driven environments, with SAP expertise and exposure to analytics, automation, and Lean Six Sigma. Hybrid on-site work in the U.S. is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in SCM or business; MBA or related grad degree preferred.
• Minimum 15 years of progressive supply chain leadership in global settings.
• Demonstrated command of end-to-end planning, IBP, and network design.
• Proven track record improving service, cash flow, and costs at scale.
• Strong SAP-enabled manufacturing and planning experience; AI exposure valued.
• APICS CPIM/CSCP or Lean Six Sigma certification is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Set global supply chain strategy and lead end-to-end planning, scheduling, and customer service with senior leaders.
• Own enterprise performance metrics across service, inventory, cash flow, and logistics cost.
• Provide executive ownership of IBP, demand/supply planning, and order-to-cash performance.
• Build a high-performing, global organization with clear accountability and standard ways of working.
• Shape long-range network, capacity, and production strategies for growth and cash optimization.
• Sponsor digital transformation with automation, analytics, and AI across the supply chain.
• Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, safety, and local requirements.
