Job summary

Ahtna Logistics, LLC in Saint Inigoes, MD seeks a Senior General and Operations Manager to lead site operations, drive workflow, and ensure contractual obligations are met. You will oversee a team and coordinate with multiple contractors to deliver program objectives.

The role requires extensive logistics and DoD program experience, strong leadership, and the ability to manage risk, safety, and training across the organization.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management or technical equivalent.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management or technical equivalent with four years of additional experience in lieu of a Master’s.
• Ten years of experience with at least five years in Logistics or Supply Chain Management with the DoD.
• Minimum five years of experience managing personnel.
• Must obtain DPAS Warehouse Management Training completion certificate.
• Must be able to obtain/maintain US Government Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Act as the overall lead, manager, and administrator for the contracted effort.
• Interface with Government program authorities on technical and program issues.
• Direct cross-competency teams across multiple locations.
• Oversee contractor execution and manage resources, finances, and administration.
• Brief senior leadership on program status and milestones; interface with COR and contractor support.
• Ensure personnel safety and workplace training requirements.

Education

Master’s Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or technical equivalent

Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or technical equivalent

Five+ years of experience managing personnel

Strong analytical, organizational, coordination, and communication skills
