Job summary

REC Silicon is seeking a logistics supervisor at our Butte facility to lead daily logistics operations, coordinate inbound/outbound shipments, and ensure compliant, cost-effective movement of goods. You will manage carrier relationships, monitor costs, and supervise staff while maintaining safety and regulatory compliance.

The role requires 5+ years in logistics, strong Excel and communication skills, and experience with SAP/PRISM.

Qualifications

Five (5) years of relevant logistics/transportation experience or equivalent.
Experience with domestic and international transportation, preferably hazardous materials.
Knowledge of import/export regulations and processing.

Responsibilities

Lead the resolution of logistics issues and transportation disruptions, coordinating with stakeholders.
Manage relationships with carriers, freight forwarders, brokers, warehouses, and service providers.
Monitor freight rates, fuel costs, and market trends to support budgeting and decision-making.
Ensure DOT/IMDG/import-export compliance and maintain licenses and registrations.
Supervise and train logistics staff and provide coverage as needed.
Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments from origin to destination and track deliveries.
