Responsibilities:

Shipment & Inventory Management

• Oversee inbound and outbound logistics, ensuring efficient receipt, storage, and distribution of goods.
• Process item receipts in NetSuite, maintaining accuracy in records and inventory levels.
• Track all shipments in a centralized shipment tracker and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
• Prepare reports on inventory levels, order fulfillment, and shipment status from 3PL warehouse partners.

Logistics Coordination & Cost Optimization

• Manage freight bills, cross-referencing them with product costing sheets for accuracy.
• Identify optimal shipping and transportation routes to balance speed and cost-effectiveness.
• Negotiate and manage contracts with international logistics service providers (freight forwarders, carriers) to ensure competitive pricing and service levels.
• Collaborate with the internal warehouse manager to submit routing requests for retail accounts.

Process & System Improvements

• Drive process optimization for logistics KPIs, ensuring timely bookings, tenders, and shipments.
• Maintain and update data in NetSuite ERP to enhance operational efficiency.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to streamline logistics processes, addressing potential delays or inefficiencies.
• Implement best practices for compliance with international shipping regulations and customs procedures.

Supplier & Carrier Relations

• Maintain a strong relationship with suppliers, freight forwarders, and carriers to ensure timely, cost-effective delivery of materials and products.
• Develop strong partnerships with third-party logistics (3PL) providers to enhance service levels.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in logistics, supply chain management, or related roles.
• Strong understanding of transportation, warehousing, inventory management, and distribution.
• Experience working with NetSuite (strongly preferred) or other ERP systems.
• Proven track record in negotiation, contract management, and cost control strategies.
• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret logistics data and drive process improvements.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities in a fast-paced environment.
• Exceptional organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally.
• Knowledge of international shipping regulations, customs procedures, and compliance requirements is a plus.
