Job description

Across the United States, 6 in 10 adults – or 133 million Americans, live with one or more chronic conditions. Chronic disease is today’s leading cause of death and disability in the US and the leading driver of the nation’s $4.1 trillion in annual healthcare costs. Patients who live with chronic conditions require far more touch points than our primary care physicians have time to deliver and the result is countless health emergencies and costly ER visits that could be prevented. Workforce shortages and lack of technologies make it difficult to give patients the attention they need.

At Cadence, our mission is to deliver life-changing care to over one million patients living with chronic disease by the end of the decade. We mitigate the impact of chronic disease by using technology and a world-class clinical team to remotely monitor, manage, and support patients at home. Together with our growing network of health system partners, we deliver guideline-directed care to tens of thousands of patients today while producing best-in-class clinical outcomes.

The Cadence Solutions team is seeking a Supply Chain and Logistics Manager to oversee the seamless flow of medical devices, equipment, and materials for our patients. This role is responsible for inventory management, procurement, supply chain management, forecasting, distribution oversight, and the continuous improvement of supply chain processes.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Strategic Supply Chain Leadership:
  • Monitor macroeconomic trends and assess their impact on supply chain continuity and costs.
  • Nurture resilience within our supply chain and maintain a pipeline of diversified and qualified vendors & manufacturers.
  • Lead vendor discovery and diligence

  • Procurement and Vendor Management:
  • Forecast demand, manage procurement activities, and maintain optimal inventory levels.
  • Ensure pricing, quality, and timelines are met through close vendor and supplier collaboration.
  • Monitor and enforce procurement compliance with internal standards and healthcare regulations.

  • Inventory and Order Management:
  • Oversee order fulfillment and inventory reconciliation via our 3PL partner.
  • Track and triage shipments, resolve freight issues, and conduct regular cycle counts.
  • Investigate inventory discrepancies and implement corrective actions.

  • Cross-Functional Operations Improvement:
  • Drive internal initiatives that improve the logistics and ensure on-time delivery of patient devices.
  • Collaborate across teams and influence change to streamline suboptimal workflows and resolve bottlenecks.

  • Process Optimization
  • Design and implement scalable logistics processes that improve delivery efficiency and reduce cost.
  • Optimize delivery routes and shipping strategies to enhance performance across regions.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

  • 5+ years of experience in supply chain management, logistics, or procurement in Healthcare/Medical devices is required.
  • Previous experience with healthcare supply chain processes and regulations.
  • Familiarity with ISO 13485 certification.
  • Previous startup experience is required.
  • Experience with ERPs, preferably Netsuite.
  • Knowledge of regulatory guidelines and compliance standards, such as FDA regulations, GMP, or ISO certifications.
  • Experience monitoring supply chain performance metrics including quality, cost, and delivery.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to execute tactical shipment transactions.
  • Experience identifying inventory discrepancies and implementation of the corrective actions.
  • Strong Excel experience.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.

WHAT YOU’LL GET:
