Job description

This position is contingent upon contract award

Amentum is seeking a Senior Logistics Management Specialist to support an upcoming INSCOM G-4 Global Intelligence Logistics and Engineering (GILE) Support contract. These services will support tactical, operational, and strategic intelligence units, personnel, and their ground and aerial intelligence equipment and operations facilities and infrastructure, potentially from multiple locations simultaneously.

1. Utilize Defense Property Accountability System (DPAS).
2. Expertise with basic military logistics, supply, and maintenance shop operations.
3. Subject Matter Expert in Property Book or equivalent using an Accountable Property System of Record, e.g., GCSS-A, DPAS, or other online database.
4. Ability to multi-task effectively, prioritize, and execute multiple priorities.
5. Advanced knowledge of databases and spreadsheets; excellent data entry skills.
6. Analyze and evaluate support required to sustain operations at alternative locations on a quantitative and qualitative basis.
7. Develop life cycle cost analysis, estimates, and alternatives.
8. Research operational requirements to develop logistics plans and stationing criteria.
9. Develop plans to field and sustain equipment.
10. Create authorization documents to support new equipment fielding.
11. Must possess a U.S. government Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility (TS/SCI). Some positions may require a polygraph.
12. Hold a Bachelor's degree in Logistics Management, Business Administration, or a related field from an accredited institution, with at least 10 years of military logistics experience or equivalent civilian training, and a total of 14 years’ experience.
13. Fluent in English, with the ability to read, write, and comprehend relevant documentation.
14. Military training/experience in 92A, 92Y, and/or 92Z is desired.
15. Detailed knowledge of customs, tariffs, and duties; capable of interfacing with foreign customs authorities to expedite movement of parts with minimal delays.
16. Proficient in MS-Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
