Alto Ingredients, Inc. is seeking a hands-on Pekin Campus Logistics Manager to drive safe, efficient, and customer-focused execution across the Pekin campus.

You will oversee logistics for ethanol and co-products moving by truck, rail, and barge, coordinating with commercial, operations, maintenance, and engineering teams. The ideal candidate adds 15+ years in plant logistics with leadership experience, strong safety culture, and proven ability to manage a unionized workforce.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree is required; engineering, operations management, supply chain or related discipline preferred.
• 15+ years of plant operations, logistics, manufacturing, or related industrial experience, with 10+ years in leadership.
• Experience leading teams in complex manufacturing with truck/rail/barge/warehouse movements.
• Proven ability to build and manage maintenance, reliability, or logistics programs for safety and cost improvements.
• Experience in a unionized environment preferred.
• Strong problem-solving, change management, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead safe, compliant, and efficient movement of alcohol, co-products, DDGS, and incoming corn across Pekin campus.
• Set expectations for safety, environmental compliance, product quality, and policies.
• Coordinate with operations and commercial teams to align production, inventory, and shipments.
• Oversee workforce while coordinating loadout activity for campus.
• Maintain rail movement records, daily tracking tools, shipment documentation, and reporting.
• Partner with maintenance to prioritize preventive maintenance and equipment reliability.
• Lead improvement projects with engineering and plant leadership.
• Generate daily Pekin Campus position reports and stakeholder communications.
• Develop and coach direct reports to achieve safety, quality, reliability, and productivity goals.
• Manage supplies and equipment to support safe and efficient logistics execution.
• Ensure compliance with safety, QA, and regulatory standards.
