Job summary

Vantage is seeking a Site Logistics Lead to oversee on-site logistics at a chemical manufacturing facility in Deerfield, IL. You will manage inbound/outbound material movements, coordinate transportation, and ensure safety, regulatory compliance, and inventory accuracy while supporting production.

Responsibilities include leading a logistics team, implementing process improvements, tracking KPIs, and collaborating with Production, Procurement, and Customer Service to meet delivery commitments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain, logistics, engineering or related field preferred.
• 6+ years logistics/warehouse/transportation experience in manufacturing.
• Experience with hazardous materials transportation and storage preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily site logistics activities including inbound/outbound material movements.
• Coordinate receipt/unloading of raw materials, packaging materials and production supplies.
• Oversee loading/unloading with tanker trucks, railcars, ISO containers, and freight.
• Ensure proper staging, storage and handling of hazardous and non-hazardous materials.
• Collaborate with Production, Planning, Procurement, Customer Service and Warehouse teams.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate replenishment.
• Lead safety audits, risk assessments and incident investigations.
