Ryder System, Inc. in Elkridge, MD is seeking a Senior Warehouse & Final Mile Manager (Senior Logistics Manager) to lead the Distribution Center and oversee warehousing and transportation solutions for major accounts. The role is salaried with a 5:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m.

schedule and expected to support business needs with additional hours. Annual salary ranges from $90,000 to $95,000 with a 10% annual bonus eligibility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years in supply chain or logistics with supervisory experience.
• LEAN experience and process improvement knowledge required.

Responsibilities

• Interface directly with the customer to ensure issues are resolved and customer satisfaction remains high.
• Strategic operational planning and execution for the distribution center.
• Identify and solve operational issues using continuous improvement and LEAN initiatives.
• Hire, supervise, develop and manage performance for employees and maintain positive relations.
• Maintain open communications within teams and other groups; review data and take action as needed.
• May oversee P&L based on account complexity and scope; lead safety programs.
