Job summary

Archer, based in Silicon Valley, is seeking a Sr. Logistics Specialist to lead cross-site logistics and transportation operations.

You will own complex moves, optimize routes, manage carrier relations, and mentor junior staff across Archer sites and suppliers. In a fast-growing manufacturing and R&D environment, you will drive KPI reporting, cost efficiency, and process improvements while ensuring compliance with DOT/OSHA.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in transportation management, logistics operations, or supply chain execution.
• Experience managing multi-site logistics and carrier relationships across modes.
• Knowledge of domestic freight regulations (LTL/FTL/parcel).
• Experience leading logistics process improvements or network projects.
• Experience mentoring logistics staff.
• Excellent communication and vendor management skills.
• Strong ability to analyze transportation performance data.
• Ability to operate autonomously in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end logistics operations across Archer sites and suppliers, including planning, scheduling, and execution for complex moves.
• Lead carrier relationship management and rate/contract negotiations, driving performance and cost efficiency.
• Serve as escalation point for complex material and tooling movement issues supporting production and R&D.
• Lead cross-functional logistics projects from scope through implementation.
• Own logistics KPI reporting and analytics, identify trends, and drive corrective actions.
• Mentor Logistics Specialists and Coordinators, providing day-to-day guidance.
• Partner with Warehousing, Manufacturing, Engineering, and Finance to align logistics with milestones.
• Ensure compliance with DOT, OSHA, and internal safety requirements and lead audits.
