Job summary

Crane is seeking a logistics coordinator in Atlanta, GA to manage domestic shipments and related tasks. Responsibilities include preparing airline bills, BOLs, declarations, and NAFTA forms, routing shipments, negotiating rates, and assisting brokers with import documentation.

You will audit freight bills, secure quotes, resolve customer issues, and maintain strong relationships with clients and carriers, working effectively in a team to hit business goals.

Responsibilities

• Prepare domestic documents including Airline bills, BOLs, declarations and NAFTA forms.
• Route shipments and determine best mode of transport for domestic/Canada shipments.
• Negotiate rates with motor carriers, freight forwarders and couriers for domestic shipments.
• Provide brokerage assistance and support import documentation for shipments.
• Audit freight bills and dispute discrepancies to ensure accuracy.
• Secure quotes and determine economical freight rates based on weight and dimensions.
• Investigate customer problems and manage resolutions.
• Maintain relationships with internal and external customers to ensure service quality.
• Collaborate in a team to meet business goals.
