Job summary

Lockheed Martin Rotary and Mission Systems, Cyber & Intelligence is seeking a Senior Logistician to support property management, inventory control, and shipments for system integrations and upgrades at US facilities.

You will maintain the Defense Property Accountability System, produce monthly inventory reports, coordinate shipments, and implement material handling processes in line with government guidance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education.
• 10+ years of experience as a Logistician.
• Experience with property accounting processes and the associated forms.
• Knowledge of automated inventory control systems.
• Experience with ordering, processing, shipping, receiving, packaging, material handling and property accountability.
• Experience with processing Government Bill of Lading and the DD1149 paperwork.
• Current US Security Clearance with a polygraph (updated within the last 7 years).

Responsibilities

• Supports property manager duties.
• Supports inventory control to account for property received, shipped, excessed, moved or transferred.
• Assists system developers and integrators during shipments of systems and system upgrades.
• Maintains the Defense Property Accountability System by providing entries for incoming property, transferred property and excessed property.
• Completes monthly inventory reports per government guidelines.
• Coordinates all aspects of shipments resulting from systems integration and system upgrade activities.
• Develops inventory control processes to account for property received, shipped, excessed, moved or transferred.
• Coordinates and performs all property accountability functions and property management functions in accordance with government guidance and industry best practices.
• Provides monthly inventory reports in accordance with government guidelines.
• Develops material handling processes for shipping, receiving, storage and disposition of property.
